Happy 4th Blogiversary to ME

Happy Blogiversary to Me! After four years of blogging every single day every now and then, I’m happy to share my new site with you. I hope you’ll stick around and check out the new digs. While I will continue to post on the {new} blog, I am most excited about being able to share some of my favorite techy resources, some popular techtorials, and an easy place to post materials from my different presentations.

When I decided I wanted to do more with my site, I knew I needed to make a change. I was very comfortable with Blogger and will still recommend it to new bloggers. During Spring Break, I spent a couple of days playing with Wix, and was quite pleased with how easy it was. After a lot of thought, all kinds of research, and days and days (yes, seriously) of “playing”, I decided to self-host a WordPress site. One of the perks I really liked was that I would be able to transfer over all 194 posts from my previous blog. So, if you missed any of them, you’re in luck … they’re all right here!

Based on the numbers of people who read the posts and the number of comments received, I’ve put a little David-Letterman-style Top Ten list.

10. Touch Typing Test (everyone loves typing tests, right?)
9. Protecting Yourself Online (super important topic)
8. Email Signatures in Outlook 2010 (also here, here, here, and here)
Although Email signatures rank only #8 on the list, it is pretty much the most-often-requested topic. Seriously.
7. Online Thanksgiving Resources
6. Neo K12 Educational Videos & More (LOTS of great stuff)
5. Word Clouds (I LOVE word clouds – there are so many options now!)
4. Spelling City (great resource … keeps getting better!)
3. Pinterest (ummmm …. duh!)
2. Free eBooks for Students of All Ages (No link because the offers included in this post have all expired. But, it’s obvious that teachers like FREE stuff. Just sayin’)
1. Study Ladder (Seriously, this was a surprise to me. There were more than 1280 views of this post. It’s a great resource. Check it out.)
